Today, OnePlus announced its new flagship interface OxygenOS 16built on Android 16. This version comes with a clear focus on artificial intelligence features, and improving smooth performance. It also expands communication options between devices, and provides more interface control options for further customization. The interface comes with a set of artificial intelligence features that have been developed and improved compared to what they were in the previous version, along with completely new additions.

Features of the OnePlus OxygenOS 16 interface

The Mind Space feature has been updated to integrate with Google Gemini, allowing the user to search or create schedules and travel plans with its help. You can now add voice notes and create smart groups to organize content and improve the user experience. A new feature this year is AI Writer, which can generate creative texts based on what the user types in the input field, or review and edit texts within almost any application. The AI ​​Recorder feature has also been added, which can record conversations and automatically convert them into written text with precise identification of speakers.

As for the Gallery application, new artificial intelligence capabilities have been introduced that allow adjusting the lighting on the face in personal photos, in addition to correcting facial expressions or closed eyes using previous photos of the user. Aside from artificial intelligence, the OxygenOS 16 interface also received significant improvements in the smoothness of use and responsiveness of the interface. The Parallel Processing feature introduced in OxygenOS 15 now works in wider areas of the interface, making the overall experience smoother.

The lock screen also has additional customization options, including new clock designs and various widgets, in addition to support for live photos and videos as wallpapers. As for the main screen, the icons are now resizable and customizable, with the ability to add quick functions within it for direct access to some features or applications. OnePlus improves the communication experience between devices in the new interface. Files can now be shared between phone and tablet with ease, with data accessible from both Mac and PC.

Support has been added for Apple Watch, allowing notifications, messages, and calls to be displayed directly from the watch. And if you’re using a OnePlus tablet, you’ll get improvements in multitasking, in addition to the same customization options found on the phone whether on the home screen or lock screen.
