The secrets behind Angelina Jolie’s youthful glow…

uaetodaynews.com — The secrets behind Angelina Jolie’s youthful glow at 50: Hollywood actress follows straightforward skincare routine – but NEVER forgets to wear this product daily
Angelina Jolie has been one of Hollywood’s most beautiful actresses since she rose to fame as a young woman, and now, aged 50, she’s still as stunning as ever.
When it comes to maintaining her looks, the Mr and Mrs Jones star, from Los Angelestakes a skincare-focused approach, prioritising her natural glow over other makeup-focused tricks – and never forgets to wear sunscreen.
Perhaps one of the most significant reasons why Angelina looks so youthful in her fifties is that she established her skincare regime, with the guidance of dermatologist Dr Rhonda Rand, at a young age.
Dr Rand told Refinery29‘When (Jolie) knew she was going to have an acting career, she wanted to take care of her skin in the most sensible way.
‘It was really just sunscreen, proper cleansing with a mild, gentle cleanser, antioxidants, sometimes glycolic (acids), and natural products. Some alpha hydroxy (acids) are good too, and they’re very natural. She doesn’t need major scrubs or products with lots of chemicals.’
Angelina‘s glow is further enhanced by her stance on makeup, which she only allows herself to wear when she’s working.
The dermatologist added that, during the few times she wears makeup products, she pays extra attention to the removal process, meaning there’s no glint of foundation, blusher, or mascara left on her face.
Wearing sunscreen is also of high importance to Angelina, which, in turn, works to prevent wrinkles and fine lines.

Her dermatologist added that Angelina further prevents sun damage and its consequences, such as pigmentation, by wearing hats, and staying hydrated.
Dr Rand added that Angelina doesn’t receive an excessive amount of skincare treatments, but will, on occasion, undergo light laser resurfacing to fuel her glow.
‘She doesn’t have any kind of a plastic look because (she) doesn’t do anything drastic – she doesn’t need it. She has really good genes and gets more and more beautiful with time,’ the doctor said.
Weighing in on Angelina’s appearance, Dr Ross Perry, Medical Director of Cosmedics skin clinics, told The Daily Mail, ‘Angelina Jolie looks absolutely incredible for 50.
‘She’s always been a natural beauty, blessed with exceptional bone structure and facial symmetry, features that have made her one of the most sought-after reference points for aesthetic treatments for decades.
‘Her skin remains virtually line-free, which is a strong indication she’s protected it from the sun throughout her life.
‘Angelina has always favoured a more porcelain, pale complexion, suggesting she’s consistent with a high-factor SPF and avoids unnecessary UV exposure. That alone makes a huge difference to how skin ages.
‘She also clearly looks after herself, maintaining a slim, toned physique, eating well, staying hydrated, and likely prioritising good sleep. Genetics certainly plays a role, but lifestyle is equally important, and Angelina is a great example of how both can work hand in hand.

‘In terms of skincare and maintenance, I’d imagine Angelina follows a consistent, results-driven routine, possibly incorporating medical-grade skincare, antioxidants such as vitamin C serums, and retinol or peptides to boost collagen production and skin renewal.
‘At 50, it’s also very likely she’s had a few non-invasive treatments to maintain her youthful glow. Subtle procedures such as light laser resurfacing, radiofrequency skin tightening, or microneedling with PRP can all help improve skin texture and firmness without altering natural features.
‘She may also have had the occasional small amount of filler or skin booster, simply to maintain hydration and elasticity, but any work would be extremely minimal and expertly done.
‘Her full lips, high cheekbones, and defined jawline remain her signature features, and what’s so refreshing about Angelina is that she still looks entirely like herself.’
Elsewhere, Amish Patel, BEM, Award-Winning Aesthetics Practitioner & Skincare Expert at Intrigue Cosmetic Clinic, told The Daily Mail, ‘Skincare routine-wise, I would guess that her beauty routine would embrace the latest non-surgical beauty technology that offers maximum results with very little downtime.
‘As a much sought-after actor, she needs to look her best all the time, so treatments such as radio frequency treatments, which boost collagen and improve overall skin tone, would be key to looking this good as you head into your fifties.
‘Ultimately, how we age is down to lots of variables, including genes and bone structure, but if you want your skin to look good like Angelina’s, my top takeaway tips are: Cut out the sugar and alcohol, wear factor 50 SPF all year round, drink plenty of water, and eat a diet rich in vitamins and minerals.’
While she doesn’t go overboard with treatments, the actress is rumoured to have high-tech facials from Hollywood’s top skin doctor, at a cost of £15,000 a year.
Miss Jolie is among a string of famous faces – including Sienna Miller, Daniel Craig, and Jennifer Lawrence – who rely on dermatologist Dr David Colbert for facials.
The 50-year-old actress met the doctor 10 years ago on the set of a Russian spy thrillerand since then is believed to have spent upwards £60,000 on his products and services.
Dr Colbert, who has been carrying out treatments for the rich and famous since 1995, charges hundreds for a 45-minute facial.
Sources close to Angelina revealed that the actress maintains a daily skincare routine between appointments – and treats herself to a £1,500 full-body treatment before big events like premieres.
Meanwhile, when it comes to fitness, her regimen involves circuit training, strength training, and cardio, according to the Express.
When undergoing a period of training for a specific role, her personal trainer might also incorporate martial arts like Muay Thai.
